From the airport to the terrace
Three legs and about five hours from the moment you leave Santiago airport. Most of it takes care of itself; there is one detail worth not missing, and it is in step 2.
The ride takes 30 to 40 minutes. Two options:
Uber or taxi. This is what we recommend if you arrive tired or with big luggage. It costs around CLP 19,000 (about USD 20).
Centropuerto bus. It leaves every 15 minutes from the airport door and arrives at Terminal San Borja, next to Estación Central metro. It takes 35 to 40 minutes and costs around CLP 3,800 (about USD 4).

Make sure you take a bus that goes via Route 78. That one takes three and a half hours. There is another route that covers the same trip in five hours, and the price difference does not make up for the hour and a half. It is the most common mistake and the only one that really matters.
Tell the driver you are getting off at the CENTRO stop, not at the terminal. From there it is a 10-minute walk to LOF, on flat streets.

From Santiago it is about three and a half hours on Route 78 towards the coast and then south. Once you arrive you will not need to move the car again: there is public parking in front of the house and a private gated lot 180 metres away, free of charge, whose key is handed over at check-in. Everything else in Pichilemu is done on foot.
Reception is open from 15:00 to midnight. If your bus arrives later, let us know beforehand on WhatsApp and we will arrange it — it happens often and it is not a problem. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags and go for a walk: the beach is 300 metres away.
